Who does Tectori serve?
Tectori is designed for banks, credit unions, healthcare organizations, regulated businesses, and growing companies that need technology to support customer diligence or regulatory scrutiny.
What is audit-ready IT?
Audit-ready IT connects regulatory and business requirements to architecture decisions, policies, controls, ownership, documentation, testing, and evidence produced during normal operation. It is not a promise that every audit will produce a particular result.
How does Tectori approach AI governance?
Tectori treats AI governance as an operating model covering the AI inventory, risk classification, access boundaries, change control, testing, exception handling, monitoring, incident response, and human decision ownership. The operating model uses ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework as reference frameworks.
Is Tectori a large consulting firm?
No. Tectori is a focused practice, not a layered firm, so every engagement has a named owner accountable for recommendations, design, and delivery.
How does an engagement work?
Each engagement has a named owner who stays on it, and you work with that person directly. Engagements take one of three models: ongoing fractional CIO or CISO support, a defined project with agreed deliverables and decision owners, or an objective review with findings and a practical action path. Before the work starts, the engagement defines the business outcome, system boundary, risks, constraints, deliverables, and work that is outside the engagement.
Does Tectori sell software?
Tectori builds and maintains several products as separate brands, including Fortivra, Compliance Compass, MailSweep, FileIQ, Architect Copilot, and Lumenwatch. They are working reference implementations of the standards behind Tectori's consulting work and are not offered for sale at this time. Tectori also publishes free, open source tools on GitHub, including Ops Toolkit, Security Program Templates, and Email Evidence Tools.
What is an Evidence Readiness Baseline?
An Evidence Readiness Baseline is a practitioner-led review of one defined security or compliance boundary. It tests whether an agreed sample of controls has named owners and current records showing that the controls operate. You receive a prioritized action list, then choose whether to fix the gaps internally or continue into implementation work. There is no maturity score and no claim that the work is an audit, assessment opinion, or certification.
Which frameworks and cloud platform does Tectori work with?
Engagements map controls to the frameworks the organization faces, including FFIEC, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC 2, HITRUST, CSA STAR, NIST 800-53, and ISO 27001. AI governance uses ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework as reference frameworks. Azure is the primary platform. Other clouds are considered case by case.

What does Tectori not do?
Tectori is not an audit firm and does not issue an audit opinion or a certification. Tectori prepares you for the assessor and does not replace one. Across the service lines, Tectori does not cover penetration testing or red team engagements, a help desk or end user support contract, or legal advice.
